Melanie Engerski formed Fair Share Consulting, Inc., in 2002 to help companies achieve the valuation, reputation and influence they merit. She provides corporate, financial and marketing teams with senior counsel, a range of writing — from shareholder letters, 10Ks and messages to presentations to sales materials — and brand-building communications.

Fair Share has compiled a global network of specialists for complementary services such as design, social media and video production. Dozens of companies have benefitted from this collaboration including Bick Group, CA Technologies, Himformatics, MSC Industrial Supply Co., Pitney Bowes and Zurich Global Life, to name a few.

Her counsel and execution draws on corporate communications experience in fighter aircraft and missile systems at McDonnell Douglas Corp. (now Boeing), and global agency work at FleishmanHillard with brands such as ConAgra Foods, Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., Dell, Inc., L Brands, McDonald’s, SBC Communications (now AT&T) and The E.W. Scripps Company.

Prior to Fair Share, Melanie was partner and senior vice president at FleishmanHillard in St. Louis, Singapore and Austin.  She began her career at what is now The Boeing Company. She is a board member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) Austin-San Antonio chapter, award-winning past president of the Austin NIRI chapter, and a former member of the Securities Transfer Association. Melanie is a graduate of the Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism.
